  • the whole room

    the back room is yours for your event. no other class, no other group, no strangers at your table.

  • an instructor

    one of us walks everyone through it, then floats around helping. nobody gets left behind.

  • everything you build with

    glass, soil, stones, moss, plants, tools. pick what you want as you go, nothing is rationed.

  • cleanup

    you leave with terrariums. we handle the rest of it.

the deposit. $150 holds your date and comes off your final bill. reschedule free, as many times as you need, up to 7 days before. inside 7 days the deposit stays with us.

the balance. settled in person after your event, once we know your final headcount — cash, card, or check. tell us your number a week out. under 12 guests, the price doesn't change.

arriving. doors open 30 minutes before your start time. we start on time — with 90 minutes to build, every minute counts.

food and drinks. byob, wine glasses are on us. light snacks are welcome — fruit, chips, that kind of thing. table space is in use the whole time, so save the full spread for a booking with extra time.

decorating. small balloon bundles and simple touches, absolutely. no confetti, balloon arches, or oversized displays.

parking. free lot and garage directly behind the building, open to all spotted leaf guests. metered street parking too. directions

questions?

is there a minimum number of guests?

six. and since the room is a flat $650 up to twelve, a group of eight pays exactly what a group of twelve pays — so there's room to invite a few more if you want.

what will we build?

an open terrarium, an enclosed terrarium, or a bonsai — you pick which. we'll email you after you book to sort it out. it doesn't change the price either way.

do we need any experience?

none at all. most people walk in having never built one. we walk everyone through it step by step, then you go at your own pace with us floating around to help.

what if our headcount changes?

that's expected. book the room now and tell us your final number about a week out. under twelve guests the price doesn't move at all, so a couple of last-minute drops cost you nothing.

can kids come?

yes. the build works well for about seven and up, and younger kids do great sharing one with a grown-up — a parent and child on one terrarium counts as one build. byob is adults 21+.

is the shop open while we're in there?

the back room is closed off and yours for your event. the shop stays open out front, so your guests can browse before or after — most people do.
