Shipping policy

Processing time
Every order is hand-packed with care, and we typically get plants boxed and shipped within 2–3 business days of purchase. During class weeks or big restocks, it may take a touch longer — we'll always reach out if there's a delay.

Shipping rates & delivery
Standard shipping is $9.99, and free on orders of $100 or more. Once your order ships, estimated transit time is 3–5 business days.

Where we ship
Right now we ship to the continental U.S. (lower 48 states) only. We're not yet able to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or internationally.

Plant & pot size
Because live plants are delicate travelers, we currently ship plants and pots under 8" only. Larger specimens are available for local pickup — just select "local pickup" at checkout and we'll have it ready for you at the shop.

How we pack your plants
Every plant ships in a custom, snug-fit corrugated insert we design and cut in-house, so nothing shifts around in transit. We also monitor weather along shipping routes and may briefly hold orders during extreme heat or cold to protect your plant from temperature stress — we'll always keep you posted if that happens.

Order tracking
You'll get a shipping confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order is on its way.

Damaged or missing items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives, and contact us right away at hello@spottedleaf.co if anything arrived damaged or if something's missing — we'll make it right. See our [Refund Policy] for full details.

Prefer to skip shipping? Choose "local pickup" at checkout and swing by 46 East Main Street, Suite 103, Somerville, NJ 08876 to grab your order in person.
