build a sealed terrarium that takes care of itself.

pick your glass, layer your stone, choose your plants from 20+ options, and finish it however you want from a wall of 40+ decor types. then we seal it — and it starts running on its own.

a closed terrarium is its own little ecosystem. water evaporates, collects on the glass, and rains back down, so it can go months between anything you have to do. we finish yours with a live cleanup crew — tiny springtails that eat mold and keep the whole thing balanced. it needs a spot with medium to bright light, and after that it mostly wants to be left alone.

what to bring

just your drink of choice. byob — wine glasses are on us. a light snack is welcome; think fruit, chips, or cookies. we ask you skip full platters, since table space stays busy.

who it's for + age policy

first-timers, date nights, get togethers, families, kids, girls' nights, and everyone in between. no experience needed. BYOB for 21+; under-21 guests are more than welcome.

what to expect

about 90 minutes. come 5–10 minutes early to grab a seat and pour a drink. we walk the room through each layer together, then you build at your own pace with us floating around to help. we're at 46 e main street, suite 103, downtown somerville — free garage parking nearby.

rescheduling + cancellations

plans change. reschedule yourself up to 48 hours before class or cancel up to 72 hours before, right from your confirmation email — no email chain required. questions? events@spottedleaf.co

booking for a group?

up to 10 seats can go in one order, and we'll seat you together. more than 10? you'd have most of the room anyway — better to have all of it. host a private party and the greenhouse is yours: your group, your pace, no strangers at the table.
