I am not actually a palm, but I am from Madagascar! Always let me dry out all the way before giving me a drink. Don't let me stay dry too long or my leaves will get yellow and fall off.

My spikes are cool and they keep me safe! If i get but or bruised I can release a white sap that can irritate the skin, so try to not touch. Only give me a bigger pot when I get really top heavy and start drying out fast
