Sometimes if I get too dry or right before I flower I smell like maple syrup. It's my way of communicating that I should have a little more attention!

Let me dry out (75-100% of soil dry) then water me until it all drains out the other end of the pot. Sometimes I can get real sad when I stay dry for a while, so give me a drink and I'll perk back up. Remember - I store water in my leaves so don't overwater me as well!

I thrive in the brightest spots but can hangout in a bright room or shelf. Put me in a sunny windowsill and i'll be happy! I can live in less light but I will stop growing!
